  • How do I report a lost or found animal?
Lost and found animals can be reported in the Message Board.  There are separate posting categories for "lost" and "found".  Your posting willl appear on the website home page in the Message Board section. You can also post an Announcement of a lost or found animal in the Announcements section; this will allow the message to appear to any visitor to teh website, even non-residents.
  • How do I submit an article for the website?
We intend for the POV website to be a great way to keep your neighbors informed of community events and stay connected! On the "Contact Us" tab, select, "Submit an article" and provide the information.  For faster processing, please be sure to include all relevant information including:
    • Your name, contact email address, and relationship to the article's content
    • Date, time and location
    • How long the article should run on the website (when it should start and end after a certain date, etc.)
    • A brief description of the facts and web URL if appropriate
    • The person's name, email address or phone number for people to contact for more information (this will be included in the article)- this may be someone other than the person submitting the article.

  • How do I take care of the new fence?
If the new fence is on your property, please take care to remove all vines and trim shrubs/trees that touch the fence.

Vines will creep between the panels and are unsightly and harm the integrity of the fence.
Limbs or boughs that are too near the top could easily break off during a storm and possibly chip off part of the fence.  At least 3 feet or more from the top is a good rule of thumb in pruning your landscaping.

Please understand it is the responsibility of the homeowner to do this.
  • How long does it take for a new submission to the website to be approved?
We make every effort to review your submissions as soon as possible.  However, our website is manned by volunteers, (most of whom have "day jobs") so you may have a delay of 24 - 48 hours in approval of your submission.  If you would like to volunteer to assist in reviewing new submissions, please email our Board President.
  • My curb is broken, how can I get it fixed?
According to the Fort Bend County Road and Bridge Dept., it is the homeowners responsibility to contact them individually to request the curb repair.

Please look at your curbs and if you need repair, call 800-690-7623.
  • When is trash pickup?
Trash pickup is each Saturday and Wednesday morning.  Rregular trash service in POV does not require homeowners to take the trash to the curb; but it is to be accessible to the trash company (not behind a locked gate).

Recycle materials are picked up on Wednesdays, and are to be placed near the street in the specially labeled recycle containers.

Seasonal items like Christmas trees can be picked up on any regular trash day.

As a reminder, trash cans and bins are to be stored out of sight from the street on non-trash pickup days.
